Residents who use 311 to report a crime can now fill out an online satisfaction survey.

The non-emergency number connects you to all kinds of city services, so it's not just for police matters — though they do handle more than 100,000 calls connected or related to the department annually, including assaults, batteries and thefts.

The questionnaire, which over 150 callers have been invited to participate in so far, asks questions related to caller satisfaction: whether officer was helpful, respectful, even-handed, etc., whether the officer handled the situation well and whether the officer discriminated against the caller.
