A Chicago Police officer caught a little girl who was thrown out of the window of a burning house today, cartoon-style. The girl, her mother and her brother were all listed as being in good condition.

Have Madigan and Blago finally reached an agreement to solve transit funding? Well...not quite. But they might have made some progress.

We didn't get to an awesomeness round-up today, but here's something pretty awesome if wholly unrelated to anything we ever write about: Cartman from South Park did some sports announcing over the weekend, and it is extremely funny.
