Obama Unleashes Most Fearsome Weapon

obop.jpgOprah has been doing everything in her colossal and terrifyingly formidable power to see that Obama is elected, but now she's taking it up a notch by going on the campaign trail with him.

While she won't be offering everyone in Iowa a new car, she will be stopping there in the first week of December, as well as in South Carolina and New Hampshire. Tickets for each of the four stops (two in Iowa, one in each of the other locations) will be free per usual, but the campaign is still asking that the audience offer help to the candidate in return. For the more rabid Obama and Oprah fans there is "preferred seating" which requires either a commitment to train to become an organizer or four hours of volunteer work.

In the past, Oprah has shown that she can popularize even the most hideously annoying of her friends (cough) Rachael Ray (cough, cough), and now she will try to do the same with a presidential candidate. And Oprah always gets her way. So ... may God have mercy on the other candidates.
