Man Charged in Nailah Franklin's Murder

Reginald Potts, Jr., was charged late last night in the murder of Nailah Franklin, who went missing in September of this year and whose body was later found in a wooded area in Calumet City.
Not a big surprise, as Potts has been the primary suspect all along. In fact, the police didn't have to go very far to find him -- he was already locked up in county jail on other charges of violating a protection order placed by another woman. His rap sheet also includes over 20 other arrests, including the threatening to murder a police detective and his family, stealing cars, intimidation, and harassment.
Potts has repeatedly denied involvement in Franklin's death, despite the fact that he provided police with evidence that strongly firmed up their case against him.
Thanks, Prescott!
