Kids in Peoria built a gigantic Lego menorah, using the big Duplo version of the blocks. We know we're assholes for having our first reaction be "Duplos don't count!" Which is why we need more good things on the list...

John Kass is way, way ahead in this "celebrity" ornament auction. His beer can chicken thing is already at $435, but everyone else's piece of crap ornaments--seriously, a little effort, people--are only around $100 (most under that). Go, John, go. And Vern Yip? We expected more from you.

CoCoComa has their free record release part tonight at the Empty Bottle, where they'll play with The Dials, The Catburglars, and DJ Jeremy Thompson. Show up early so you can enjoy PBR-inspired art work. No, really.

We were just going to post this dog in a hat, but then the kangaroo bunny mouse [video starts right away] appeared, and we had a new winner for Favorite Animal of the Day.
