The Friday Buffet

2007_12_bunny_suit.jpgToday, in honor of our favorite Christmas movie, A Christmas Story we've compiled a list of restaurants offering Christmas Eve dinner. You know, in case the Bumpases dogs ruin your family feast and you have to scramble the troops over some duck at a Chinese restaurant.

  • Osteria via Stato will offer a $39.95-per-person Italian Dinner Party from 5-9 p.m.
  • Cyrano's Bistrot is offering a "Joyeux Noel" fixed price, four-course degustation menu for $39.99
  • LTHforum's third annual Jewish Xmas Eve Chinese dinner takes place at 6 p.m. at Lao Sze Chuan, located at 2172 S. Archer (not 2712 S. Archer as listed). that's the west end of Chinatown mall, by Princeton. More info, of course, can be found at LTH.
  • Café Matou has two separate fixed-price dinners, at $32 and $42 dollars, respectively. Some of the dishes Chef Charlie Socher is preparing for the evening include Piper’s Point oysters with lemon-caper mignonette, Pan-roast salmon with tomato, red bell pepper, sauvignon blanc and basil, Roast New York strip loin served with horseradish jus and wild mushrooms and Roast New York strip loin served with horseradish jus and wild mushrooms.
