No Dahl and Drew Dating Game

Well, that was a storm in a teacup. Steve Dahl did not in fact have Drew Peterson on the air this morning for a dating contest. From Steve's blog today:

I had no intention of ever going through with the Dating Game idea, once I got off the air and had the chance to think it through. Besides, Drew is still legally married, so he’s not really allowed to date yet. I’m very old school. What can I say?

We never thought we'd get caught up reading the show logs for morning radio, but today's installment had us for a while.

Steve said he was going to do the Dating Game on the air but it's just like when he and Buzz say they're going to become Masons. They never actually go through with it. ... It was just a bit. Everyone loves a good bit but some people get self-righteous and want Steve to burn in hell or think he's sunk to a new low trying to use Drew to get some press. Steve's gone way lower than this.

That and Steve is totally right about Tim Riggins on Friday Night Lights.
