Trump Tower Rolls Out the Red Carpet

02-02-08_Trump.jpgThe Trump International Hotel and Tower is now open for guests. The hotel portion of the project, originally slated to open last December, occupies floors 14 through 27, and features 339 luxury guestrooms, including one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites. In addition to top-of-the-line appointments (sub-zero fridge for a minibar and in-mirror TV portals in the bathroom), the hotel promises service that will be unrivaled. The hotel website brags:

We deliver sophistication without pretension, attention without intrusion, and service without boundaries. Situated at the crossroads of commerce, culture and entertainment, the Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago is aptly positioned to grant any request you may have.

We hope that would be the case with room prices ranging from $325 (a deluxe room with king bed, and city view) to $1,425 for the “Trump Experience,” a “grand deluxe 2-bedroom suite with a lake view, 3 baths, fully appointed kitchen, dining room for 6, topping out at 2140 square feet.

And in case you’re wondering -- 500 thread count on the sheets from Bellino Fine Linens.
