A Cook County assistant state's attorney has been charged drug possession. Chad Sabora, who has been an assistant state's attorney since 2005, is accused of having about $50 worth of heroin on him after police officers, patrolling in South Austin, spotted him "sitting in his car ingesting a white powdery substance that had been dumped on a compact disc case." Next time you're thinking about jumping out of the stands and charging the pitcher's mound at Wrigley, recall Brent Kowalkoski. He did just that, trying to confront Bob Howry, and he pleaded guilty to a felony today. [S-T]
