Side-splitting

2008_03_funny_ha_ha.gifFunny Ha-Ha is a guaranteed good time. Tonight's edition at The Hideout features a host of writers, but seems to be "headlined" by Eric Zorn. We love Zorn, but find it kind of funny his credit is "Chicago Tribune Columnist & Blogger" while Claire Zulkey's is "Blogger & TV Critic for The Onion & Los Angeles Times."

Yeah, yeah, yeah, Zulkey rose to fame due to her blog, but even so, once she scored the print gigs one would think she would stress those first.* At least that's what conventional wisdom would lead us to believe.

O.K., it's just a poster, and we're just tryin' to make conversation, but what do you think?

Enough snark though, we really do urge you to go and take in a bunch of gifted writers, and one comedy troupe, do their best to make you laugh. Plus, you get to feel smart in that NPR type of way.

Funny Ha-Ha is tonight at The Hideout, 1354 W Wabansia, 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., $5 suggested donation

*Further proof that blogs are taking over the world! Or something like that.
