Questions For The Interview Show
By Justin Sondak in Arts & Entertainment on Apr 4, 2008 5:15PM
The Interview Show, a monthly opportunity for host Mark Bazer to rub elbows with Chicago celebs, returns tonight to the Hideout. Here’s a few queries we’d like to see answered:
For rapper extraordinaire Rhymefest:
What was it like to work with Michael Jackson? Does he seem as freaky in real life as he does on Court TV?
When’s El Che dropping? And premiering at a stage near us?
For author and Strand Magazine Critics Award nominee Marcus Sakey:
If you win the Strand trophy, do you get a stack of free books?
Are you sick of people comparing your work to The Wire?
Bazer also screens Steve Delahoyde’s laugh-inducing films on a bigger-than-your-laptop screen and turns over the mic to Funniest Person in Chicago finalist Jena Friedman and her charmingly subversive jokes.
The Interview Show is tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Hideout, 1354 West Wabansia. Admission is $5, no reservation necessary, just show up.
