Adopt Radar

By Kevin Robinson in Miscellaneous on Apr 16, 2008 7:50PM

Not all dogs up for adoption come from heartbreaking backgrounds. Take Radar, for example. He's a well-adjusted Pit Bull Terrier with seemingly endless energy and a penchant for snuggling.

Radar bonds well with people and with other dogs. So much so that he's getting along well with the cats and other dogs that he is staying with right now - a quality that can be rare in foster pets. Sadly, Radar suffers from vasculitis, a general term that applied to several conditions caused by the inflammation of blood vessels. In Radar's case, it led to sores on his face, ears and tail. His skin has improved with veterinary care and a grain-free diet, but some of the scarring on his face will remain. Nevertheless, he's a healthy dog that would do well in a home with older children or other pets. His size and energy also makes him a great candidate for agility training and obedience classes, which will also help with his confidence and focus.
