Obama Looking At May 20 Victory

The Obama camp, David Axelrod in particular, says it's ready for victory and has even identified a date: May 20.
"We are building toward that day when we can claim a majority of the pledged delegates, and we believe that's going to be on May 20 and I believe that's gonna be a big night for those of us in this campaign...To my knowledge, the party has never nominated anyone other than the winner of the most elected delegates,'' Axelrod said.
Obama's with him. On tonight's NBC Nightly News, Obama tells Brian Williams two Tuesdays from now is the big day.
"[May 20] will be an important day. If, at that point, we have the majority of pledged delegates, which is possible, then-- I think we can make a pretty strong claim that, you know, we've got the most runs and it's the ninth inning. And we've won. But do so in a way that brings the party together.''
