Blog You! Tonight at the History Museum

Is it just us, or has every Mom across America at some point asked, “What’s all this blogging I keep hearing about?”
So how can we answer? An assembly tonight at the History Museum will explore that very question. Sun-Times columnist Laura Washington, who has straddled the media world for the last 20 years, will lead the panel discussion in discovering how blogs have infiltrated our culture and changed the way we communicate online. Online etiquette (or what’s left of it) will be brought into question along with the ways in which cyberchatting, stalking and commenting have changed our social networks.
Considering everybody from Anderson Cooper to this guy has hopped on the blog train, it seems worth questioning where this is really all headed.
Blog You! is at the History Museum, 1601 N. Clark, June 3, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Free. Register here.
