An executive for the MacArthur Foundation was charged last week for taking upskirt shots of women at Frontier Days and the Fourth of July Parade in Arlington Heights. Timothy J. Hoeppner, 47, is facing at least one count of unauthorized videotaping, which is a misdemeanor.
Plain clothes police officers caught Hoeppner after a man told them Hoeppner was trying to photograph his wife without her knowledge or permission.Arlington Heights Police Sgt. Tom Seleski said, "he identified the individual to them and they started following him and observed him bending down like he was going to adjust his shoes, and when they looked closer, they saw he had a camera, a small digital camera in his hand and he was attempting to photograph up another woman's skirt."
Because only one of the alleged victims has been identified so far, only one charge has been filed; if police identify more victims, more charges could follow. Hoeppner was allegedly taking both still and video footage. Ugh, what a piece of shit. [Trib, WBBM, S-T, Daily Herald]
