No Happy Ending in Arlington Heights Prostitution Bust

By Prescott Carlson in News on Jul 12, 2008 7:00PM

kilsunfara.jpgApparently Arlington Heights is full of pervs. Police there raided the Singapore Salon massage parlor on Golf Road and arrested six people for prostitution after an undercover officer was offered a different kind of rubdown. Amazingly enough, the same place was raided back in 2001, the same salon manager (pictured) was arrested and the salon had their business license revoked. Obviously somebody wasn't paying attention, and the license was reinstated at some point. You would think they would have at least gone with a name change.

Village Prosecutor Ernest Blomquist at that time cited a litany of prostitution-related problems at the salon dating to March 1997.

"What we have is an arrogant and defiant, vulgar and selfish slap in the face of this community," Blomquist said then. He couldn't be reached on Friday.
