It's a Cruel, Cruel Summer

The heat continues this week, and it's not going to let up—the opposite in fact. Expect this weekend to be even steamier and for highs next week to be in the low 90s all across the Midwest.

Here's a list of Park District pools. I thought the "open swim" at the one near my house would be basically a urine-soaked screaming festival starring neighborhood children and my own misery, but it was actually completely fun. [NWS, AccuWeather]
