Strange Brew: Meth Coffee and Conservative Baristas

Former art teacher Dave Beckham was sick of “traditional liberal bastion coffeehouses” so he opened Conservative Café an uber-conservative, "pro-American" coffee house in Crown Point, Indiana
Things found in Conservative Café include: Stacks of Ann Coulter books, Fox News playing on every television, T-shirts for sale that say, “Peace through Superior Firepower” and “Silly liberal...Paychecks are for Workers,” extended hours to accommodate Hannity & Colmes fans, and a “Radical Right” brew.
Beckham was certain his pro-United States decor and Indiana roasted coffee would be popular in his community and attributes his success to the growing number of people who are turned off by traditional coffeehouses.
“Coffee shouldn’t be about sitting in a café for 12 hours. Coffee gets us through our workday. It’s what we drink before we make steel for the rest of the country or head out into the fields.”
Er, or taking the train to sit at a computer for 8 hours a day. Potato, potahto.
In other coffee news, Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan is demanding Meth Coffee cease their marketing and sales in Illinois. The back of Meth Coffee suggests you “chew them whole, snort the powder dry, cook it over a lighter and huff...” If the company does not, Madigan will “seek injunctive relief and civil penalties“ as the coffee glorifies drug use and well, we here in Illinois do not.
In all fairness, the label does include a warning: "Meth coffee should not be consumed by minors, bilious baby handlers, hazelnut-flavor whores, swill consumers, anger management seminar attendees, road ragers, or cup-cradle and warmers unable to handle upward shifts in speed and mobility."
