"She was standing at a bus stop. A very cute young woman obviously dressed to for some sort of “important” job. She reached into her large, but not obnoxiously so, bag and pulled out a can of Easy Cheese. She gave it a shake, and proceeded to place the nozzle in her mouth and enjoyed a mouthful of processed cheese. If I still had the ability to cry, I would out of sheer joy....this took place at 7:30am this morning. I'm still dreaming of her."—David Kendall

"For all the potential of the Internet, there are times when I consider it a cesspool of misinformation, ignorant opinion and faked imagery. I also find it confusing and untrustworthy." — Timothy McNulty, public editor of The Chicago Tribune.

"What help can he give me? What help is he talking about?" — Daley on Blagojevich

"So despite those annoying "Let's go Cubbies!" cheers and "W" signs at the end of the games they won—not to mention the guy in the parking lot at Miller Park wearing a Cubs T-shirt proclaiming 'drunk women love me'—we should continue to welcome these...um...these...fine ladies and gentlemen to our town." —Today's editorial in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, via
