City Sues Bus Company

By Marcus Gilmer on Aug 6, 2008 3:30PM

The City of Chicago has filed suit against Alltown Bus Service for $350,000 stemming from a March 2007 accident that killed a Chicago fireman. A school bus driven by Darlene Lewis was involved in an accident with a fire truck responding to a call. Twenty year CFD veteran William Grant, 44, was killed in the accident. The money is to cover the cost of repairing the fire truck and a light pole damaged in the accident.
