Tonight: Enjoy a cocktail in the lounge at Ai Sushi and listen to Keeley Singer (next Friday: Roberta Miles). Ai is also celebrating the 46th anniversary of Spider-Man by inviting guests to enjoy a Spider Maki Roll and Green Goblin Martini combo for $10. 358 W. Ontario.
Saturday: Bogart's Bar & Grill and Muvico-Rosemont 18 Theaters (located in Rosemont, IL) are hosting a wine pairing dinner to go along with the film Bottleshock. It's a four-Course dinner with paired wines, movie ticket, complimentary valet, popcorn and wine for the flick. Dinner at 7 p.m., movie follows. 9701 W. Bryn Mawr Avenue, Rosemont, IL. $90.

Monday: Chef Bill Kim will be preparing a special four-course dinner at Le Lan to celebrate the summer harvest. The menu will feature product from the local farm Seedling Fruit of South Haven, Michigan and each course will be paired with a wine selection. 749 N Clark Street. $75.

Wednesday: Adobo Grill in Wicker Park will be hosting a Tequila Tasting featuring Chinaco Tequila. Full menu here, reservations here. 2005 W. Division. $35.

Next Friday, the 22nd: St. Jude's hospital will hold its Second Annual Sabor Latino Gala to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Enjoy Latin food from Chicago restaurants, a silent auction and dancing. More information and purchase tickets here. Harold Washington Library Center, 400 S. State Street, 6:30-11:30. $100 advance, $120 at door.
Next Saturday, the 23rd: The Alliance Française is having a cooking class entitled "Being a French Chef: Menu from Green City Market." Shop at Green City Market in the morning and then head to the Alliance kitchen to prepare your meal. Register online here. 9 a.m. 810 N. Thursday, August 28: Adobo Grill in Old Town continues the Tequila Tasting, this time featuring Grand Centenario Tequila. Menu here, reservations here. 1610 N. Wells. $43.

Thursday, August 28: Wine Discount Center will host a tasting with Alex and Jen Bolez where you can sample their wine: Lavoro Syrah. 5 p.m. 1826 N. Elston.
