If you like television celebrities, nonfiction authors, mathematics, illegal drug consumption, or any combination of the above: tonight is your night!

Tommy Chong – of Cheech & Chong and That 70s Show Photo Hut fame – appears at the big ol’ Borders on N. Clark Street tonight at 7:30. He’s signing copies of Cheech and Chong: The Unauthorized Biography, so expect to be regaled with at least one gut-busting tale of elicit psychedelic adventure.

But if you’re more of a square, rest assured, because there’s fun for you tonight, too!

Danica McKellar, the girl who played the everybody’s dream girl-next-door, Winnie Cooper on The Wonder Years is doing her own book signing tonight at the Barnes & Noble at the Old Orchard mall in Skokie, also at 7:30. Most people don’t know Danica left acting to study math – she’s basically been a wiz kid forever – at UCLA. As such, she’s celebrating the release of Kiss My Math, her latest foray into youth-oriented educational writing. Don’t worry: nerds and non-nerds alike are invited to attend.
