Cubs Take Series From Nats
On the back of another Mark DeRosa home run and seven huge innings from Rich Harden, the Cubs took game three and the series from the Washington Nationals with a 6-1 victory. Harden struck out 11 en route to his ninth victory of the season. Geovany Soto and K-Fuk added two-run shots of their own as the Cubs hit the road for a three-game series in Pittsburgh to begin the week.

Sox Run Over Rays
The White Sox salvaged their series with the Rays by beating Tampa Bay 6-5 with some late-inning heroicsCarlos Quentin and Jim Thome provided the early offense with two-run home runs, both in the fourth inning. Paul Konerko's ninth inning single tied the game and A.J. Pierzynski, benefiting from an interference call on the basepath, scored the winning run in the 10th on a Alexei Ramirez hit to secure the victory. Next up for the White Sox is a trip to Baltimore.
