Will Trump Sell the Bottom of His Tower?

Crain's is reporting that The Donald may be seeking a buyer for the first four floors of his 92-story Trump International Hotel & Tower. Trump has reportedly hired a broker to market the building's four-level retail space, and the asking price is believed to be somewhere between $115 and $130 million.

"We're just looking to see whether or not there's value there," Trump told Crain's. "I think it's unlikely I'll do it...If the right price came along, it's something we'd consider." Given that the housing and credit markets are virtually in shambles, there is speculation that Trump may be trying to raise some cash to pay down his $640 million construction loan.
