  • Tony Rezko is apparently in talks with federal investigators as his sentencing date approaches and could give plenty of information regarding Gov. Blagojevich's federal investigations.

  • Bones found on the South Side were determined to be human and the death has been ruled a homicide.

  • A Lombard man has been charged after stabbing his wife and adult daughter in a domestic dispute this morning. The wife was in critical condition while the daughter was reportedly in stable condition.

  • The deaths of three people in a Lakeview apartment Friday have been ruled drug overdoses by police.

  • Baseball update - the Twins won, so the Sox will have to win tomorrow against Detroit and then again Tuesday against the Twins if they want to play into October. In the NL, the Brewers took the wIld card so the Cubs will begin the playoffs with games at home against the Dodgers on Wednesday and Thursday. Times have not yet been announced for those games.
