David Sedaris makes a return trip to Chicago after visiting earlier in the year to support his excellent new collection, When You Are Engulfed In Flames. Tickets are a bit high for this appearance, but if you can afford it, it'll be worth it. We've seen Sedaris several times and seeing him in person is a pleasure on a different level from his books.

The Mountain Goats visit town for a show tonight at Park West. At times incredibly bleak and at times unbelievably catchy, John Darnielle and his crew spin fantastic music out of life experience. Kaki King opens.
