DePaul To Host Financial Bailout Rescue Town Hall Meeting Tonight

Still confused about the financial bailout even after all these debates? DePaul University's Department of Economics and Master of Science Program in Economics and Policy Analysis is hosting a town hall forum tonight to explore the financial rescue package and how it might affect you. On-hand to discuss the package will be:

  • U.S. Rep. Danny K. Davis (D - 7th)
  • Michael Miller - Associate Professor of Economics (DePaul University)
  • Robert Kallen - Visiting Professor of Economics (DePaul University)
  • John Miller - Clinical Assistant Professor of Finance and Executive Director of the International Center for Futures and Derivatives (University of Illinois at Chicago)
  • Loreto Peter Alonzi - Professor of Economics and Finance (Dominican University)
  • Colette Holt - Attorney who represents public agencies and private firms on issues related to civil rights, employment issues, public contracting and affirmative action

Tonight, 7 p.m. - 9 p.m., DePaul University Center, 525 S. State St., 2nd Floor Conference Center
