Bears Outlast Vikings
An Arena Football game broke out at Soldier Field as the Bears outpaced the Vikings 48-41. Benjy's up in a bit with the recap.

Blackhawks Drop Game to Blues, Top Canucks
On Saturday, the Blackhawks lost another shoot-out game, this one to the St. Louis Blues, 4-3. Patrick Kane had two goals for the 'Hawks, who couldn't do much again in the shoot-out portion. On Sunday, they returned home where the beat the Vancouver Canucks, 3-1. Kane added another goal, Sharp had a pair, and Huet stopped 28 of 30 shots.

Northwestern Rebounds To Beat Purdue
A week after suffering their first loss to Michigan State, the Wildcats bounced back to top Purdue 48-26. Northwestern scored 24 second quarter points and took advantage of five Purdue turnovers. C.J. Bacher completed 20 of 33 passes for 220 yards and three touchdowns.

Illinois Rolls Over Hoosiers
The Illini experienced another offensive explosion on their way to routing Indiana 55-13. Juice Williams threw for 271 yards and three touchdown and added another 30 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Jason Ford stormed his way to 172 yards and three touchdowns on the ground and Arrelious Benn led all receivers with 130 yards and a touchdown.

Northern Illinois Smacks Toledo
Northern Illinois sped out to a 21-0 lead and never relented the lead on their way to easing past Toledo 38-7. Chandler Harnish threw for 173 yards and three touchdowns. Five different rushers combined for 220 total yards, led by Chad Spann who rushed for 82 yards and two touchdowns.
