• It's going to cost the Obama campaign $2 million to party in Grant Park on Election Day; Mayor Daley handed down the actual retail price earlier today. We hope the Obama campaign didn't bid $1 when asked cause, man, the contestants who do that are annoying.

• A Lincoln Park man was stabbed this morning after chasing a burglar who had broken into a nearby residence. The injuries were not life-threatening.

• Another day, another Blago subpoena. This time it's for info on John Wyma and his relationship with Provena Hospital, which might have been the beneficiary of a favorable ruling from Tony Rezko.

• Police have arrested a man in connection with a pair of South Side sexual assaults, including one in Kenwood two weeks ago.

• A Metra engineer is in trouble after apparently allowing teenagers into the conductor's cab and letting them run the trains. Several of us had parents that let us do this when we were kids, but it was the family car, not a commuter train with several hundred passengers on board.
