Comedy
Season Three of Impress These Apes is nearly at an end, and we are especially looking forward to this week’s show. Our esteemed contestants must be in top comedic form during tonight’s beauty pageant assignment. Guest judge Miss Illinois Katie Lorenz will be making sure all runs smoothly. Full disclosure – Marcus and I will be in attendance, trying to hide our celebrity status and blending in with the crowd.
Lakeshore Theater, 3175 N. Broadway, Mondays through 11/10, 8:00 p.m., $15

Miscellaneous
Our own dear, dear Lauri Apple will be out at Sonotheque on Election Night, painting a portrait of Joe Biden and customizing cheepie Obama block prints. Stay tuned for a full listing of election night parties and events.
