What is a Transatlanticist (tran(t)s-ət-ˈlan-tik-ist)? A Transatlanticist draws upon the different ideas and customs of Great Britain, expressing their interpretation of British culture through art, music, film and other creations. It's with this cultural improvisation that the Transatlanticists pay homage to their origins and add new chapters to their cultural lineage.

You don't have to be British to be a Transatlanticist either. In the United States there are stores, restaurants and bars inspired by Britain. From designers Ben Sherman and Thomas Pink, to buying Boots beauty products, to Chip Shop restaurants in New York, Transatlantic influences can be found everywhere.

And, if you visit the Transatlanticism website now, you can win a trip to Britain just by voting on your favorite street art.
