Winter Classic Ticket Info Released

Dying to spend New Years Day at Wrigley Field watching the Blackhawks and Redwings face off? Want to give that sports nut on your shopping list the coolest gift ever? The NHL released details for ticket sales to the Winter Classic today.

Blackhawks season ticket holders and other "NHL Winter Classic partners" will have first dibs on seats. A general public random drawing will then be held to determine who else will have the opportunity to buy tickets.

Fans wishing to enter the ticket lottery will need to register at www.chicagoblackhawks.com between 11am tomorrow and 10:59 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 28. Registration is free, but each person is limited to one entry. Those selected will have the opportunity to purchase a limited number of tickets, although the league hasn't specified what that number will be.

Ticket prices, announced last week, will range from $75-$325.
