GNR Hits Chicago Early ... Kinda

2008_11_GNR.jpgHonestly, we still can't believe Guns 'N Roses is finally releasing Chinese Democracy. In fact, until we're actually holding the damn thing in our hands you're not going to dissuade us from believing that Axl Rose will pull the whole thing at the 11th hour, head back into the studio, and deny us our free Dr. Pepper. And, though all sensible thinking should lead us to act otherwise, we're actually looking forward to hearing the 14 years in the making album.

Supposedly Chinese Democracy is coming November 23. It's being released exclusively through Best Buy in a move that has prompted some criticism, but if the sales results of AC/DC's Walmart-only recent release, Rose and company have nothing to worry about diminished sales-wise.

For those of you that are over 21 and just can't wait until then, there's going to be an exclusive listening party at Joe's on Monday, November 17 at 8 p.m. Admission is free but they're offering free Guns 'N Roses t-shirts to folks that buy the album from Best Buy's website and bring their receipt along, while supplies last.
