- President Obama, who utilized social networking and the internet so well during his campaign, will be posting his weekly radio addresses on YouTube. Also, he likes Harry Potter.
- Infamous biographer Kitty Kelley is tackling Oprah next. But that's the least of O's worries: seems a house she owns is very close to those consumed by a current forest fire raging in California.
- The Illinois Gaming Board chose Des Plaines, Rosemont and Waukegan as the three finalists to receive the state's last casino license. They also swear they'll issue the license before the end of the year, cross their hope and hope to die, stick a needle in their eye.
- For the second time this week, a girl went missing from her home only to show up again unharmed two days later. This time it was 12-year-old Humboldt Park girl Kali Moody who disappeared Wednesday afternoon and returned home this morning after allegedly spending the last day and a half at a friend's house.
- Kanyeist! Mr. West was arrested in Gateshead, England after mixing it up with a photographer who was shooting pictures of him as he left a party. No charges will be filed in the case according to police.
