Comedy
Be entertained tonight at Underground Lounge's COLLABORATE event; relax and have a brewski, listen to live music, and get your dose of comedy as local sketch group Big Dog Eat Child, Comedy Central’s Prescott Tolk and storyteller Polina Zionts perform for your pleasure in between band sets.
Underground Lounge, 952 W. Newport, 11/21, 8:00 p.m., $10 at door, 21+

2008_11_21_carmen.JPGLingerie Fashion Shows
Carmen Electra will be in town to host a Lingerie Fashion Show Saturday at Enclave nightclub, accompanied by a live DJ set from KORN’s Rob Paterson. Featured unmentionables will be by local lingerie shop Isabella Fine. [Ed.note: Tankboy here. Um, I may be a dude, but every girl I know LOVES Isabella's, so at least Electra has SOME class.] We are thinking this will likely be sort of a douchey event, but actually, seeing models strut their stuff in person is pretty gosh durn amazing.
Enclave, 220 W. Chicago Ave., 11/22, 9:00 p.m. – 3 a.m., Tickets $20, 21+

Miscellaneous
Meeting again this month is Sewing Rebellion, an informal sewing circle of sorts meant to help emancipate ourselves from mass-produced goods by learning how to sew. (A tad ironic eh, 60's feminist movement?) Spend an afternoon learning sewing skills, working on individual projects and just having a chat and a snack with others in the group.
Mess Hall, 6932 N Glenwood, 11/23, noon to 4 p.m., Free
