Where To Find Tonight's Bears Game

By Benjy Lipsman in News on Dec 11, 2008 4:30PM

2008_12_bears_tv.jpgThe Bears play a rare Thursday night game this evening, hosting the New Orleans Saints at Soldier Field. For most of the country, the only way to see the action in on the NFL Network. But fear not, Super Fans. Those of us without tickets to the game can still watch, even if we haven't ponied up for the NFL coverage. The game will be televised here in Chicago for free.

WPRW Channel 50 will air the broadcast. A pregame show starts at 6:30, followed by the game coverage starting at 7:00pm.

Tonight's game features the 7-6 Bears against the 7-6 Saints, with each team trying to improve their slim hopes for a trip to the post season. The Saints, however, are just 1-6 on the road this year -- their lone victory against the 2-11 Chiefs. So can the Bears open the Week 15 action by ensuring they'll finish no worse than .500 and do their part to try and eek out the division title? Everything's in their favor -- the home crowd, an opponent that can't win on the road, frigid temps, etc. But since it's the Bears they just might find some way to screw up this valuable game.
