No. 24 Illinois defeated the Wisconsin Badgers 64-57, fueled by 50 percent field-goal shooting and a 25-point performance from Demetri McCamey.

Northwestern came down from their high with a 68-59 loss to the Michigan Wolverines, after defeating ranked opponents in their last two games.

DePaul fell victim to no. 10 Marquette, 79-70, surrendering 14 steals to the plunderous Golden Eagles.

Loyola notched a 72-66 win over the Detroit Titans, holding their opponents to only 29 second-half points.

UIC struggled mightily in its 57-31 loss to the Wright State Raiders, recording the program's lowest point total in over 49 seasons.

Chicago State walloped the North Carolina Central Eagles 103-63, attempting 75 shots and collecting 50 rebounds in the contest.

NIU was stymied by the Central Michigan Chippewas, 68-45, as only Mike DiNunno sank more than two baskets for the Huskies.
