Wilco, Bird Do Bonnaroo

2009_02_03_bonnaroo.jpg When the lineup for MegaFest Coachella was released last week, we barely batted an eyelash. It failed to impress us much headliner-wise (giving Amy Winehouse that high a billing? really?) though some of the undercard was nice, but nothing we haven't seen at Lollapalooza or Pitchfork Fest.

The lineup for another MegaFest, Bonnaroo, however, seemed much more worth the money. Tucked away amongst the Phish reunion and the Boss are sets by Chicagoans Wilco, who have been fairly quiet as of late, and Andrew Bird, who has been making his biggest splash on the national scene yet with his latest record, Noble Beast, charting on Billboard's Top 20 and making a stellar appearance on Letterman (top that, Blago). While exact details of set times won't be known for a while, it is known Bonnaroo is happening June 11 through 14 and tickets, which will start at $224.50 plus fees (available in a layaway plan!), go on sale Saturday at 11 a.m.

Surprisingly, Kanye was not invited back.
