2009_03_heaven70s.jpg Chicago based Heaven Seventies have released a free EP of remixes by talents both local and national. We're particularly digging the minimalist techno treatment Liz Revision (a.k.a. Quantazelle) gave "Coldest Day of the Year." It stutters merrily along, occasionally providing swelling bursts of color before throwing you back into the rhythm.

Good music ... and it's free? Can't beat that nowadays.
