Last Second Plans: Windy City Rollers

If you're a regular reader of Chicagoist, you know we're big lovers of the Windy City Rollers. We've headed down to the UIC Pavilion for bouts one and two this year and we're excited for tonight's third bout of the season. The Manic Attackers came into this season without a win to their name since 2006, but already they're the talk of the league as they've stormed their way to a 2-0 record by a combined score of 317-73. A roll to 3-0 won't be easy, though, as they face the defending champion Hell's Belles (1-1). Meanwhile, in the evening's other bout, The Fury (0-2) look to shake off their 0-for-'09 start and get a win over the Double Crossers (1-1).

Tonight's action starts at 6 p.m. (doors at 5 p.m.) at the UIC Pavilion (525 S. Racine). Tickets are $20 for General Admission and $40 for fancy VIP floor seats. A portion of tonight's proceeds benefits Inspiration Corporation.
