Today's Weather: Turbulent

By Marcus Gilmer in News on Mar 24, 2009 2:00PM

It's peaceful outside right now, but a hard rain's a-gonna fall. Southerly winds will gust through the area today, boosting temp towards 70 in some locations inland, but highs will remain in the 60s throughout most of the city. Of course, any veteran of the Midwest (or the South, for that matter) knows that strong southerly winds + temp boost in March usually = storms, and that's what we have coming this afternoon and evening. Lows will eventually reach the lower 40s tonight amongst the rain before a cooler, drier air mass moves in for the rest of the week.
