The Chicago Blackhawks have been generous to their fans in this tough economy, giving them yet another session of free hockey in their 3-2 OT victory against the New Jersey Devils on Friday. Martin Havlat scored late in the second period to tie it at two, and a scoreless third necessitated more time on the clock. In the bonus period, Havlat fed the puck to Brent Seabrook at the blue line, who ripped a one-timer past goalie Martin Brodeur for the win. It was Havlat's second assist of the game, having also aided Kris Versteeg's goal in the first period. Four of Chicago's last five contests have gone into overtime, and the 'Hawks have emerged with a three-game winning streak. Chicago will play host to Vancouver on Sunday in an important matchup, as the two teams battle for the fourth spot in the West.
