- In puppy news, dogs seized in a puppy mill raid on the south side have all been adopted.
- The University in Chicago Medical Center is in trouble after an audit found the hospital violated federal law when an emergency room patient died. Perhaps this has a little something to do with why a highly criticized plan to move the ER has been temporarily tabled.
- A principal in Wisconsin has had his school fight song changed because it contained the word "fellow," which he felt was sexist.
- Douchenozzle of the day award: a woman has been charged with animal cruelty for allegedly ripping the tail off an iguana.
- The city will miss the over $33 million in revenue, and scores of viewers will miss watching for all the inconsistencies like how the doctors seem to take the Brown Line to work, or how they walk from Cook County Hospital to the Michigan Avenue bridge in two minutes when the show ER airs its final episode on Thursday.
- Logan Square residents are pissed that a neighborhood skate park that hasn't even opened to the public yet is already covered in gang tags, graffiti, etchings and stickers.
- Naperville North High School tells Bill Ayers thanks, but no thanks. Why did they even book him to speak in the first place?
