How about pay $27.50, which is the going rate for members of the Chicago chapter of the American Institute of Wine and Food. AIWF Chicago is sponsoring a brunch with Gand at the Bristol on May 17th. There's some history behind the choice: Bristol chef Chris Pandel worked for Gand and Rick Tramonto at Tru before staking out on his own. Gand is also on something of a PR blitz promoting her new book on brunch. Recipe offerings from her book will be available at the brunch, which runs from 10 a.m. - noon.
