Charges in Mag Mile Shooting

The two people involved in this weekend's incident on the Mag Mile, which ended with one of the suspects shot by police in a struggle, have been charged. According to Chicago Breaking News:
Sheila Ferguson, 30, of the 3700 block of West 13th Street was charged with two counts of aggravated battery of a peace officer, one count of disarming a peace officer and one count of forgery, according to a police news release.Her alleged accomplice, Cornelius Banks, 19, of the 800 block of Williams Court in Schaumburg was charged with one count of aggravated battery of a peace officer, according to the release.
Ferguson remains hospitalized due to her injuries. The CBN story also reports that the car used by the pair in the incident was allegedly purchased using a stolen identity.
