Another Pitcher Turns Down Sox

First, it was Jake Peavy turning down the White Sox. Now, it's the Astro's Roy Oswalt. Speculation swirled over the weekend that the veteran ace may be on his way to the Sox, but he also turned the team down.

According to the Houston Chronicle, while Oswalt has not spoken publicly about the trade possibility, the Chronicle reported that he would not waive his no-trade clause to be dealt to the Sox. Peavy and Oswalt, according to the Sun-Times, are hunting buddies and Peavy could eventually wind up in Houston.

Since being swept by Toronto two weeks ago, the Sox are 9-3
