"Top Chef Masters" Premieres Tonight

After going into Stephanie Izard overload recapping "Top Chef: Chicago" we decided to sit out recapping "TC5". Well, and we had a very strong feeling Radhika Desai wasn't going to win.

But with Art Smith, Rick Bayless and Graham Elliot Bowles all participating in tonight's premiere of "Top Chef Masters", we're getting the band back together. Stolpman's gonna post weekly recaps as only she can write them, and she and I will collaborate on weekly power rankings. Some of the burning questions for "Masters": will Bowles develop a cult following for folks who like them some Heavy D-style overweight lovers? Will Bayless smell the poblano? Will "Masters" host Kelly Choi make us forget the stoned bliss of Padma Lakshmi?
