We realize we’ve already presented you with two kick-ass options for tonight, but if you’re not in the mood for eclectic-music-in-the-rain or guy-with-a-guitar-in-a-bar, allow us to add another suggestion. Innervation Dance Cooperative’s Everyman, a ballet set to Led Zeppelin music, opens tonight at the Vittum Theater.

Originally staged in April 2008, Everyman is based on the 15th century morality play of the same name. The character of Everyman - played by a woman in this case - lives a life of debauchery, until she is visited by Death. The ballet follows Everyman’s search for someone to accompany her on her “journey.” It might sound depressing, but the company promises a rockin’ good time.

Well, we can at least guarantee the rock portion. The set list for the evening (all performed by Led Zeppelin, except where noted) includes:

Wearing and Tearing
No Quarter
Gallows Pole
Ten Years Gone, performed by the Vitamin String Quartet
Down by the Seaside, performed by Robert Plant and Tori Amos
Since I've Been Loving You
The Ocean
D'Yer Mak'er
Kashmir, performed by Bond
Dazed and Confused, performed by the Vitamin String Quartet
Going to California, performed by the Vitamin String Quartet
Thank You
Night Flight
Carouselambra
When the Levee Breaks
Four Sticks
In the Light
The Rain Song

If you need some more incentive, the cost of tonight’s show will be just $5 plus the roll of a die. If you’re feeling fancy, check out tomorrow’s show - $60 buys you a ticket to both the performance and the post-show Benefit at the RitzTango Cafe, which includes a tango lesson, open bar, appetizers and dessert.

And if you can't make it tonight, the performances continue through the weekend.

Everyman, tonight through Sunday, Innervation Dance Cooperative at The Vittum Theater (aka Adventure Stage Chicago), 1012 N. Noble. Tickets $15-$18, 773-342-4141.
