In our absence, the food world saw its Superbowl event on the 4th of July, the hot-dog eatching contest at Nathans in New York. Patrick Bertoletti is a professional competitive eater and took 3rd in the event this year, but holds world records for devouring everything from pizza to PB&Js and is currently ranked #2 in the world. That's a long way from all-you-can-eat wing night.

Patrick - who we've talked to before - spoke with us about how one gets into the competetive eating community, strategies and training methods for this type of "sport," and if an eater on a world-champ level is born with it - or can they be created?

It's been a while since we reminded you, so if you'd like to download our podcasts through iTunes you can do so here, or keep an eye on our RSS feed here. Keep us posted on what you want to hear here - it's good to be back and great to have you listening!
