Burr Oak Workers Indicted

The four former Burr Oak Cemetery workers accused in the atrocious grave-digging scheme - Carlyn Towers, Keith Nicks, Terrence Nicks, and Maurice Dailey - were formally indicted on four additional charges today. According to Chicago Breaking News:

[The four accused] had previously each been charged with a single count of dismembering a human body.

Today prosecutors said at a hearing in Cook County Criminal Court that the four had each been indicted on the dismembering count, plus two counts of theft and single counts of removal of a gravestone, desecration of human remains, removal of remains of a deceased human from a burial ground and conspiracy to dismember a human body.

Next up for the accused will be arraignment, scheduled for August 26.
